Poem for Parashat Vayetze

ותאמר לאה ליעקוב

נפגעתי, נרדמתי על מקומך הקשה
גופי נפרש כסולם
שתי ידיך, כמלאכים, עלו וירדו בי
ודשו את קרבי לאינספור גרגרי חול
לא ניתן להבחין ביניהם—
לא ניתן להבחין ביני לבינה
(אכן הייתי במקומה – ואתה לא ידעת)
מכל שתתן לי, בתי היא לך.
